Hello,
I'm getting a "ECT engine Malfunction mode" alarm. The engine goes into a safe mode. I can shut it off. Restart and its fine. It happened 3 times on hard excellaration. My mechanic replaced the throttle control module, body thing. $350.00. Two days later its doing agin only without hard throttle. I noticed a leak of antifreeze on the pass. side front of motor under radiator. Could this be acoolant problem. The coolant is not low however.:screwy:
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!
The "ECT" of the error you're getting stands for Engine Coolant Temperature, so yeah, your issue is very likely a coolant issue. There is a Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor mounted to the head that is used as one of the inputs to determine weather to go into safe mode.
Figure out what is causing the leak, determine if the cooling fan and radiator are doing their jobs, and have the technician monitor the datastream for the coolant temperature sensor compared against the CHT sensor readings. They should be very similar.
