did you get hit in the front?? looks like a piece to your cars intake system that sits under the filter

yup, part of the intake's resonator

can i still drive the car without this peice?

You can drive without it because you have an aftermarket air intake. But make sure not to get your filter wet during raining season. You don't want your engine to suck in any water.
