my brother..(CRXce) is towing his car from new york the florida and he has to disconnect his driveshaft........waht is the easies way to do this????.....thanks

how is going to be towed from NY to Florida?, if you are using a pick-up truck, I would go to U-HAUL and rent a dolly. the car's fromt wheels sit on top of it and you tow it like a trailer. Look into it, it will be much easier than taking the axels out.

I agree with the Dolly, or you can use a car trailer, just drive it on and get a truck (if u have one or a friend who has one) to tow it and ur all set. or see if any tow truck drivers wanna take a vacation in flordia this early hehe :D

I agree ... they also have ones that the entire car is on the trailer.

when you use a tow bar what do you do with the stearing wheel??? do you cheap it in the lock position or make it so it moves???....what should i do with it??????........thanks

i would just get a dolly bro, for 1) you said you would have to remove the axles, and 2) you would be putting hella milage on ur car, when you could just get a dolly and tow it with the front wheels off of the ground

guys i checked into the dollys there 300 dollars for the 2 whell ones and 500 for the whole trailer, ONE WAY THats a rip im making my own tow bar with alot O steel Worked on it all day today supposed to be leaving tommrow night i dont know if ill make it still have to take the axles off

k.....does anybody kno of a website thats shows you how to take off the driveshafts on an 88 crx or would it just be the same as a 91?????.....i need to kno within the next two hours.......thanks
