Well, now that we have this problem solved

In another thread, GForce957 suggested that I may have some exhaust problems. Based on the interesting noises my car is making, the general thought was shot muffler bearings. Well, I can't have that, can I? So I decided to get the problem fixed. I ordered up some parts, and they came in last night. This should fix my muffler problem:

Corksport Power Serries 80mm Cat Back exhaust. Going on Saturday, should have sound clips up Sunday at the latest. Down pipe and mid pipe are next on the order list.

Thats freaking sweet, you shouldve gotten a base dyno to compare to these mods your doing.

Nice! Now is that the 24 or 48 ball bearing system?

Fuck nuggets...I knew I was forgetting to do something. Ah well, I know where most of these dyno base line, so once I get it on the spinners (no promises, but should be next Saturday), I'll have an idea. Corksport says its around 15-16 ponies at the wheels, but hardly any more torque. To get that, I'd need the DP/MP. Right now, just waiting on a good system with a CEL fix.

48 Ball Bearing with a Gallo 24.

Is that gallo 24 with sausage or peperoni??
I figured you would've gotten a motec system exhaust but I heard they are kinda hard to find since they mostly came on civics
I like it. U need all you can get at this point ;)

You should be getting much more than 15-16 whp especially if youre going full turboback, mazda has a problem of making the cats very restrictive. An example of this is the cat on the rx-8 robs 8-10whp alone, the rest of the exhaust is fine as switching to an aftermarket catback gives absolutly no power since the exhaust on the RX-8 is already 2.5 inches and is 90% straight through with ther ebeing only 2-3 minor bends in the exhaust.
so you having a FI car I would say you get well more HP, not much more torque cause its a tiny turbo already pushin 14.7 pounds (though you could push it up to 23-25 easily and not damage it since the efficiency range on that Ko4 stops at around 30psi (flamethrower). As I said before you have the same turbo that the jetta and GTI upgrade to.

15psi, if we are lucky. It seems that Mazda has trumped Mitsubishi with making the most useless stock BPV. It doesn't hold shit. Some people are showing actual horsepower gains and jumps in boost pressure just by switching out the BPV. I'm looking at HKS and Forge for that.
As for power gains, like I said, its just the cat back, so I'm not expecting anything more than 10-15whp and 5-10ftlbs out of it. People going full turbo back are showing 25-30 for each.

That seems about right, well actually it would free up more torque than HP as that is the habit of those turbos

You can tell by the hood having a big bulge on the top, there is a spoiler where the hatch is, the rims are different, and the exhaust tip is larger.
We have quite a few here in miami as they are a hot seller here.

Wow, MS3's seem to be a very common car around here since they came out. I see at least a few every day.

I have only seen 2 MS3's. One was for sale and the other one is owned by a kid i know. The funny thing is when i met him, we passed him and he turned around and followed us for about a mile to my friends house. My friends were saying "hey i think that guy in the speed 3 is following you!" It was funny. Then we got there and they asked if it was a redline so i showed it to him, but i made him show me his car too. I really liked it, They look so cool, most people dont pick out the distinct differences between the regular 3 and MS3. But as far as MS6's i havent seen any.
Edit: Oh yeah, my friend is planning on getting one this summer too

You'll have to let us hear how much better those bearings sound after you get it on.
