Hey all,

Does anyone know what type of thread my 2002 Elantra's oil pressure sending unit has? I tried metric, that didnt work. I tried standard, that didnt work...any ideas? I'm trying to install my by-pass oil filtration system and I need a line out. Thanks.

that is what you call a (National fine pipe thread) there are different sizes but I am thinking it would be eather a 1/4" or an 1/8".
What your doing requires adapting from that thread to whatever your installing.
Hope this helps.

Hey,

Well, mine is 1/8th, but I read somewhere else that the thread is British Pipe thread. but, why would a Lorean car have a BPT thread??

Hey,

Any idea where I might find this adapter? I have looked at every auto parts store, hardware store, automotive speciality store, no one has it.
