Hi all,
I'm about to undertake a small task of cataloging my collection, it's small 'cause I only have 30 kits :cwm27: I also want to keep all relevant info about building each kit (photo's, techniques used, accessories etc) in the one spot.
What I'm looking for is a cataloging program that will allow me to do this, free if possible. I'm aware of Kit Info but it isn't available & it would probably suit my need.
Does anyone know of another?

I havent cataloged my kits, but I have a list of all of the Nascar decals that I have (about 80 sheets), and I use Excel. Works great. Just create all your catagories that you want, and just key it all in.

I do Photography for a living, and one program i really like to use for a lot of things is a program called Adobe Light Room. (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshoplightroom/)
With this program you would Catalog images however with each image you can put discriptions. So what i have been doing is i created a Catalog called "Scale Models" under that i created Sub Catalogs called "Auto / Airial / Military" and then under them you create a catalog called the name of your kit and in that you post all the images and with each image you put in you can put a discription of what you did to it.
I would consider downloading the trial and give it a try, the nice thing with it is you can then create webgallerys of each of your directories for easy uploading to the web.

Thanks guys.
Adam, I have been using excel but I'm aiming to keep all the information in the one location without having to trawl through my computer.
Michael, I'll give Adobe a go.
Cheers
