new work van express with 6L v8 cuts out just over 100. lots more rpm to put into it, how do i lose the electronic speed cut off? im not a wreckless idiot, i just wanna be able to go quicker than 100. i drive back and fourth boston to virginia, get paid by how quick i do it. i find 100 wont keep up with alot of other drivers. i know safetywise i changed to high speed tires, and it handle quite well at high speeds. i just need to lose the governer, whats the best way to do this? appreciate thehelp

Do you mean you want it to go faster than 100 mph? By my definition you are being reckless. My kids and grandkids use I-95. I sure hope you do not.

What could you possibly be hauling at 100mph that you would need a big van for. Why don't you get a vette or viper, at least they are made for that kind of speed. Please let me know the company you work for, if they really pay for crazy driving like that I don't want to do business with them. Please get a new job, maybe sitting behind a desk or flipping burgers.

didnt mean to post muliples, computer issues. i meant theoreticlly speaking such as across salt flats. i never really drive over 55. dont even understand how its even legal to sell a vehicle not governed at 75, since its not legal to drive above 70 anywhere in the u.s. didnt mean to give the wrong idea. averaging 800 miles every week would i still have a license if that was the case?

Dump a glass of water down the intake with the engine running. That fries the governer.

now your being silly. 100 is not fast. your grand kids can move outta the way of the big green van with a nickel duck on the hood doing 100, they shouldnt be in the left lane anyway. 97 is slow for a van reguardless your the doushe in my way in the left lane doing 55. so i dont care about you or your kids. iv had 90,000 mile all 85 to 97 0n highway with no accidents. so you stay out of this conversation, all you do is slow me up. half my travel is on 95 from virginia to boston mostly nj and ny. anyone whos not a burden on the road id apprreciate the help. this guys a stupid old man

do a painless wire harness that will bypass all computers on engine and tranny. Oh by the way re-wiring an engine really sucks and thats if you know what you're doing. Drive fast and stay on the sidewalks!

theres most likely a reason why that van has a speed limit at that speed. maybe get another vehicle for your purposes and can go the speed you want with it being "safe"
