Lexus vs Volvo

Looking for a little advice. I am looking at either a 05 Lexus ES 300 with 55k miles and or a 05 Volvo with 58K miles. Does anyone have good or bad experience with either type of vehicles? I have always had GM which ususally need major repairs or replace after 130k mile but have been driving a 96 ES300 for work and have passesd 280k mile with little problems.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:nono:
