3rd gens look nice with a small drop, clean black paint, if its the Z28 does it have the spoiler? the 3rd gen looks stupid w.o a spoiler imho. I think if you know which year spoiler you want, it'll help too, they have the wing-ish one and the 3 piece spoiler that sort of goes aorund it like the one in your sig. i like the wing one better, but eithier one looks good i think.
btw, i like the 3rd gen better than the 4th, 2nd and 1st. just that i cant find a really clean, nice 3rd gen.
plus i like my 6th gear :]

yes... anything. just not very radical ideas. i like the idea of going with black or silver... maybe two-tone. drop definitely. just a clean looking car. this particular 3rd gen is an 86 berlinetta 2.8 with only 50,000 miles. new front and rear fascia with the side skirts from later z's will be a must... not sure on spoiler.. not sure on engine too.. lt1, ls1 or the ll8 (4.2 inline 6) i love the smoothness and sound from i-6s plus it would be different

To heck with big rims and flashy garbage if the car doesnt GO, than what is the point really. Black on Black, with a bare bones paint job with nothing but go is my kind of camaro, why try to polish a turd. here is my camaro, its not the nicest looking, but she will burn the tires with a 9" and ladder bar setup at over 70 mph posi with a 3.51 gear set, and as you can see from the vid the tuning is off, sucks but i couldnt amagine what it will be like with a full tune with a dyno shop that knows what there doing.

hey thanks, yeah i come on every once in a while when i remember that this forum is here, tell you the truth the car has been parked for so long, and is full of dust, motor is covered snugly of course, i havnt even been thinking cars, been so involved with snowmobile forums, considering the season. The registration is up on it, and i gotta bring it through emissions again and that's always a bear! So who knows when it will be back on the road.

oh ya check out the vid link on my last post, its on youtube, but its the only one i got, its sweet, car choked hard for some reason when i first started off in 1st and when i hit like 7400 she backfired and stalled, idk, i need to get the car dyno tuned bad, if you watch the video the car is a 3 speed auto, and the night before i did the vid i went through the gears faster and it didnt get cought on film sounded like a was just in one gear the whole time cuz she burnt into third gear in literally less than 3 seconds blew everyones mind. and she went through a brand new set of tires with the stickers on them, in just about 45 seconds to the belts. watch the vid its sweet.

To be honest, i think the Camaro's look real nice with larger chrome Iroc-Z rims , but the Trans Ams/Firebirds/Formulas/GTA look beautiful with stock rims, this is my car , I took this pic at Flushing Meadows park not too far from my house and those are the original rims the car came with. if you wanna see more thirdgens go to the following pages:
www.thirdgen.org
www.nythirdgen.org
They might end in ".com" instead or ".org"
