Meeting-up for belgian and dutch modellers !!!!

Hi to all my european fellows ( and to the others too ),

On 22nd and 23rd of march is organised a great car modeling exhibition in Jabbeke ( Brugge - Belgium ). Its the "On the road" show.
It's the biggest exhibition about car modeling I have ever seen in Belgium. Modellers from Holland, France, Germany and some scandinavian countries join together. There is a great contest with lots of categories too.

I think it could be the right place to meet all the AF-members from Belgium, Netherlands and maybe France and Germany. And set a face on some user-names.

My club have a 8 meters long stand and I'll be there all week-end long ( I'm the President :bloated: :devil: )
Then, if you're interested , here is the way:
Take the exit n°6 "Jabbeke" on the A10/E40
Follow the signs "On the road"
It's on the dorpstraat (in english villagestreet), behind the church.

It could be cool.

Yes it's an annual event.
It began a few years ago but I don't know when it will happen next year.
It's always near the third w-e of march.

My club is the " Dynamic Modellers Club " From Charleroi.
I'll print the Automotiveforums logo and put it on my stand, so you'll easily recognize my club.

About the website, I didn't know they had one. I received the reservation form but no website was listed. :rolleyes:

To vagabond_7: I have no photos here.A member of my club took some pics last year, I'll ask him , scan and insert it here. But, I'm sure you'll see some great cars, trucks and motos.

I would love to come, but I am driving a rally in that weekend (rittensport). But if you want to come to Zolder or Francorchamps to see a race, we can make an appointment, because I will be working a lot of raceweekends there, making photographs for the Belcar-champion Anthony Kumpen.

If I can make it I will print it also.. and then pin it right on me, so everyone will notice me :D
That should be enough to reckognize anyone from AF..
The only problem for me to get there is that I have most probaly no transport to there... :(

This year was a great year, 150 differents clubs from 10 countries.
750 meters of stands, thousands of incredible kits :eek: :eek: :eek:
I felt "little" with my 8 meters long when I saw clubs from Germany with more than 25 meters full of scratch builld trucks and cars.
All kind of styles, custom, lowriders, tuning, show cars, Drags, Rat's look, .. I could not believe my eyes.
Trucks with airbrush paintings, faces, animals, ... so many artists.
It was amazing.

I planned to come, only my parents didn't so borrowing the car was totally out of the question. May be next year I can borrow one, or own one myself...

It was on my agenda, but some personal issues - wife just out of hospital and recovering - and the sunny wheather threw my agenda around. So I missed it... :( :cry:

That's also the reason for not posting so much anymore lately. But all is getting back to normal again, so I should find some time again to work on my models as well. Hopefully next year! ;)
