The third one is probably the best one. The headline is clear and visible and the second headline is placed at a good place. The curving of the text helps the viewer to see only what's in the middle and not have their eyes looking everywhere all at once. If you want them to see the VWs and parts of the cross, the third one is good. The fourth one is too loud, and has a mild hierarchical point. The third one is good. Not to high or too low and it doesn't take away the details of the cross. Although, you might want to raise the "Vintage Warehouse" up a bit since the "V" slightly touches the VW on the left. You want to have some space between the art and typeface. My $0.02 advice as a Graphic Designer. =D

I agree, the third looks the best.

However, the slight cant of the 'W' throws things off a bit. If you can align the 'W' with the inner sides of the cross, as you have in the second design, you'd be spot on.

My 1 & 1/2 cents worth...as I'm not a graphic designer. :smokin:

The thing about graphic design is, it's not always about what you like personally or what you would do if you had your way. The client is paying so ultimately you do what they want and try not to attach too much of your own personal views to any one job. This particular client went through 17 revisions before he was pleased. That's not an indication that I'm not capable...it's the nature of the beast. Sometimes a job goes smooth as silk, no issues and other times it drags out. The key is being able to adapt and learn and reapply. I'm 17 years in the field and trust me this job is old hat for an old cat like me.

Like I said though...it was fun and I learned more so it's tme to move on to the next job.

ps

just funnin with you guys

I appreciate the comments...that's why we all do what we do, so we can get better.

I would have chosen one of the earlier designs frankly but you know...you do what you gotta do then you move on so you can do it again.

thanks again
