Just wondering what exactly mold line are. I mean i know what it is but does tamiya kits have them cause i never seem to know what mold lines are and ppl talk about grease on the kits after it comes out of the factory. I never fidn these things on my kits am i just missing them or tamiya don't have them??
Also one little thign if it say do not use on Vinyl does that mean do not use on plastic like model kits?

Mold lines are very thin raised lines on a model.
They are mostly on either side of the fron/rear bumper, and at times can go along the tops of both guards, up the pillars and across the roof.
Sometimes they even go across the bonnet and boot (see lines on pic)

Since P-Man got the first answer...
It's not necessarily incompatible with plastic. Like enamel paint will react with vinyl, and paint never dries. Some lacquer primer and paint do the same. However, that doesn't mean it can't be used for plastic. So, it depends on each brand, and if you are in doubt, just ask in this forum, and someone should be able to help.
