My mom bought a 2005 Trailblazer in March 2005. It was a program vehicle with 18,700 miles on it. The dealer talked her into buying a GM Protection Plan Major Guard Extended Warranty. It was a 3 year/36000 mile plan. The cost was $1000.00 All along she thought the extended warranty would start when the original factory warranty had expired. What she found out was the extended warranty took effect the day she purchased the Trailblazer. So that in effect nullified the original factory warranty. So now she has found out that her warranty expires the first week of March. Now come on,the dealer knew there still was a portion of the factory warranty that had not expired yet. Needless to say she is upset. I know just to protect herself she should have taken the warranty to her lawyer to figure this out. Just kidding but you know what I mean. It was never explained to her that she still had the factory warranty left. I know this is a "gotcha" situation but this is wrong. Does she have any recourse? Thanks!

just another example of dealership rip off's. whenever anyone goes out to buy a vehicle always have another person to help you navigate there sales BS. never, never, never sign anything until you think it over and check with family and friends to ensured your not getting taken for a ride.......
