I am currently selling my S10 that i have right now and I don't know what i should get to replace it. I know for sure I am going to get a used full size truck. I got about 15,000 to spend with my trade in. I don't know if i should but a newer truck like a 2000 to 2002 with less miles on it and spend all the money on that or if I should buy a little older truck with more miles on it and do an engine swap. I personally like the looks of the older trucks better with exception of the ford. Also roughly how much cash goes into an engine swap if you do most of the work yourslef? My thinking is that is I can find a nice older truck for 8 to 10 grand I would still have like 5g to put into it. What would you do?

Well it depends on what you intend to do with the truck. If you are buying the truck to actually use it for what it was designed for, I would definately say get the newest truck you can and get a warranty if you can. If you are getting it to customize and to use as a daily driver/cruiser, I would say get an older truck. That is just my personal opinion though.
