How do I determine if the car has keyless system? (98 Lesabre)

I just bought a 98 LeSabre, and the key does not have a keyless entry to it. I want to buy it myself, but I need to make sure this car has that system. How can I make sure of it? How can I know the right part number of it? I know FCC ID is KOBUT1BT, but seems that there are 3 different types of part number, which are 25628814 or 25678792 or 25668603. How do I know which to choose? Thank you!

If you look at the on the top of spare tire cover and find RPO code "AUO", the car should have REMOTE ENTRY – KEYLESS ENTRY! The FCC number is what is impotant, not the part number! IIRC, the same remote will work on 96-2000 LeSabre and PA.

Thank you!
But the spare tire seems not the original one... It even didn't fit the space in the truck...
Where else can I find the code? Thanks

Without the RPO codes, only a dealer can find this for you using the VIN number. BTW, I have never seen a 98 without Keyless Remote!

I have a 1997 and went to the dealer to ask this same question. I gave them my VIN and they told me mine never had a remote from the factory.:disappoin
I thought for sure I was going to get an after market one ($35) but for the last couple years I've just used the key.
The dealer can tell you easy with a VIN.
Chris.

I don't think he meant on the spare tire itself, but on the spare tire COVER.

Thanks polarzak for clarifying that!
BTW, here is a sample SPID with an AUO code.:smokin:

Thanks!
The bad news is, the spare tire cover of my car is messed up...
The worse news is, I called the local dealer, and they told me my car don't have that option...
