Ok after driving my first car 1991 nissan maxima v6 160hp etc.etc. now i am ready for my second car.
I definietly thinking of a 2dr coupe, this is my list
(price? not more than 15k)
bmw z3 (can't find around 2003 2004 for the price, else i love it)
acura rsx (why they stopped making these, love the car but won't buy because it is discontinued, or am i thinking wrong?)
audi tt (can't find around 2003 2004 for the price, else i love it)
golf gti (can't find around 2003 2004 for the price, else i love it)
impreza wrx (i think i can manage to buy this around 15k like 2004 or so, can't I)
hyundai tiburon ( i know it looks nice and all and v6 but hyundai you know?)
civic/accord coupe (just tell me something about these hondas please)
scion tc (somebody told me to get away from these, is he right?)
vw rabbit (hmm what ya guys think?)
feel free to suggest me a car, just make sure it is a 2dr coupe?
thanks all

I'd get an RSX Type S.
but wouldn't it bother you that it is now discontinued?
(you know as far as the resale value and finding parts and stuff)?
acura rsx type s is in my first choice really, and impreza wrx the second, but i talked to many dealers it is so hard to find an impreza, nobody wants to sell theirs i think, what d'you think?

Yes, the 300zx is discontinued. You can get a real nice one for 12K.
an rsx would be a fine choice as well.

The RSX has been around for a few years so parts availability shouldn't be on the short side anytime soon. Sucks it isn't made anymore, but it sounds like it was bringing the Acura name down.

that's weird coz it really looks fine, but i dunno about a discontinued? tell me guys would you honestly buy it, when i's come to coupe there aren't 100 cars to choose from really
celica gts (love it discontinued)
acura rsx (love it, discontinued)
any idea why rsx was bringing the acura name down?

hmm thank you for the brand suggestion looking at the mazdas now rx8 hmm doesn't look so fabolous but at a reasonable price for 2005 models, i wonder is it any good? anyone knows
powers by 300hp engine though, sounds fantastic
when buying a new car, do you guys think is it madly important to not buy a car that is discontinued, like Acura rsx type s?

I would buy the subaru impreza, but when impreza, you can think about a lancer too. Their 4wd is really cool.

Well, I don't know the story, but i'd guess that Honda wants to focus on luxury with the Acura line and the RSX is kinda out of place in that sense. Plus you have competition with the Honda Civic Si so that may be another reason. I hear they are gonna replace it with a turbocharged coupe eventually (the RSX).

Your reasoning on the RSX is all wrong. There is nothing wrong with the car. It had just met the end of its product cycle, its sales were a little low, and the just havn't replaced it yet. There are no serious reliability problems with the car. Car & Driver magazine loved that car and always rated it well in comparison tests. Go for a used one. They are great cars.
