Ford Fiesta

After running over a large pot hole in the road the petrol guage is continually flashing and the petrol indication ight is constantly on. Is this due to the sensor and if so can anyone tell me where this be located please?

Yes, it is due to the sensor which is in the petrol tank. Try filling the tank with petrol to make the light go out. Once you do this the light is not llikely to come back on. The pothole made the sender go goofy.

Many thanks for the information. I filled up the tank and after a couple of days the petrol sensor righted itself.
