I had my car scanned 3 times and each time the so called mechanics said it would cost hundreds of dollars. Two of the did not want to touch it. All of them said it wasn't worth it. WOW. Just a little advise to all the mechs out there: don't just asume the car is not worth it. Worht is in how much the owner loves the car ! Well anyhow, they told me it was showing random codes for the ECM. so I called a local dealer and talked to someone I trusted. He told me to start with the ECM. I was unpluging it and the top plug had water in it. I opened the box up no water made it inside. I replaced it. then i lost spark. I replaced the crank sensor. Got spark back . car ran fine for a while. I noticed no air flow was going through the throttle body. pulled out the Idel Air Sensor . It was froze up. replaced that. Got air. Then I lost spark. I noticed that I would have spark sometimes and sometimes not. Pulled the ICM had it and the coils tested. The ICM Failed 2 out of four time. Coils passed. Replaced The ICM and it was alive again. It seems to be alittle stronger too. I found the leak sealed it and also sealed off the back of the plugs to the ECM just in case. Thanks too all who helped !!!!!!:grinno: :grinyes:
