1990 4.0 engine swap

ok i had an 86 thunderbird 2.3l in my ranger,now i just got a 1990 4.0l ranger and i want to do an enine swap,
Would i have to put a new wiring harness in?
Would the wiring line up?
i know i have to put a new flywheel on becuase the 90 is an automatic and my ranger is manual would my flywheel from a 86 thunderbird fit...?
