Hello. I own a 2000 Gmc Jimmy. My center led brake light recently stopped working. I removed it and I'm not getting any electricity from the wires. I checked the fuse and it's fine. My next step is to remove the headliner and see if the plug in there came out or if there is a short, but I am not sure how to remove the headliner. Anyone know the easiest way to do this? Also, the left and right brake lights are working, so I am assuming that the switch under the brake pedal must be good. Is this definite? Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

Does the cruise control still work?
In the underhood fuse block.
Check the VEH. CHMSL fuse for power on both sides with brake lights on.
There may be two CHMSL fuses one is for trailer and other for hogh mount stop light brake light.

MT2500, do the 2000 Jimmy's have the double brake light switch?

Just one brake light switch on brake pedel for stop lights.
But it could be a double type brake light switch for transmission lock up feed.
Not sure on that end

It has two white brake light wires out of it.
One to turn signal switch and other feeds high mount and trailer plug brake lights fuses and on to high mount and trailer plug in. lights.
