you have to remove the front wheel bearing assembly and rotor to replace it just pound out the old one and pound in the new one may take all day unless you are an average mechanic

Hi WiseGuy,
Thank you for the advice .. But is there any precaution or preparation I need, before I remove the front wheel bearing assembly ? Is it easy to remove and install it again the front wheel bearing assembly ?

yes its easy just remove the tire and make sure the car is on jackstands not a jack then remove either the top or lower ball joint with the ball joint seperator i prefer the top because if you remove the bottom then the whole assembly is rather heavy then that castle nut you where talking about theres gonna be a cotter pin in the center of that nut remove it carefully they tend to break or if need be replace with a cotter pin of the same size once the ball joint is seperated then you remove the center nut if you have impact its better otherwise its a 3\4 inch ratchet and a cheater bar and some muscle then the hub should come out far enough to see the retaining bolts on the backside there should be 4 twelve pointed bolts when i mean twelve point you know your basic socket that has a hexagonal shape with six sides its the other one that has more sides like the name 12= 12 sides anyways if i remember correctly it should be a number 10 or 12 size socket and after you remove the bolts you will have the hub\wheel bearing out and then you can pound out the bad lug and make sure the new lug goes in straight and is all the way in then just put everything back together and remember the wheel bearing does not require repacking of grease they are internally greased for life or until the bearing fails just make sure you torque everything down and try not to break any more bolts in this area because this area is harder to replace just one bolt and last but not least which should of been first but youll understand you have to remove the brake caliper retaining bolts and the brake caliper bracket FIRST before removing anything else and if done right you should spend a good 6 hrs and dont forget when you take the caliper off you have to push the piston back in so when you reinstall the caliper its alot easier and have fun and if you have anymore questions let me know and ill help you out
