It's finally finished. Overall I'm very satisfied with this build. The livery was one of the best during the 90's due to the beautiful green/yellow contrast. I chose to replicate this by masking the yellow and airbrushing the green rather than using the kit supplied green decals. I chose to do some modest carbon fiber detailing. Otherwise it is a clean straight out of the box build with Tabu C@m3l decals.

Outstanding effort and I know that masking job can be tricky!! But really good result and a very clean build. It brings back fond memories of when I built the kit.Well done.

Looks absolutely great !!
One suggestion : Maybe next time you use CF decals you might darken them a bit with Tamiya smoke (X19). Imho they're too bright on this build.
But maybe that's just the camera exaggerating things. And of course, it's a matter of personal taste...

No, that's good advice. The camera does seem to exaggerate the CF pattern though.

Turned out great for a (nearly) box stock build, nice finish, great work on the CF decals

Looks excellent
In fact it looks so good and clean, it's almost a shame you didn't add some extra detail plumbing and wiring ;)

I really like your work. Very clean and not overdetailed. Of course you could have added the wiring and plumbing but as said before - everything is a matter of personal taste. Keeping it rather simple helps sometimes...

Thank you for the comments. If I had the right materials at the time I would probably attempt something like adding electronic connectors and wiring, and maybe some more CF. My intention was a simple clean out of the box build with some CF added. My MP4/5B will hopefully be a little more detailed with an even better finish.

Very nice and clean build, I like it a lot.
I see you also have the problem of the cowling not sitting correctly.
