How many of you have been lucky enough to be legally drugged?

Well, I've had anesthesiology before but I just got back from a minor surgery and they had to put me under. I've never had it feel like this. Must have been new since I last had it. My heart rate jumped to about 140bpm and my face felt like it was on fire just before I passed out. When I was done they told me the usual crap. Don't drive, don't walk around, don't sign any documents, blah blah blah....

Honestly I think I'm fine. To prove it I just played GHIII and got a 98% on Through the Fire and the Flames, my best score yet and I'm DRUGGED. Granted I could have done a little better had I not been on it but honestly, don't walk around? :rolleyes:

Ahhh, famous words. While I have no idea what condition you are, and it may very well be a precautionary to save their ass from being liable for something you do, I had two friends die in a car wreck who said that.

Well, I decided not to drive but they wanted to take me out in a wheel chair. I declined and walked my ass to the car and drove it to the door so my mom wouldn't have to walk to it.

I can understand not driving, but not walking, that I don't understand.

Then again, after talking to a few people it seems it affects some people differently. Some people act as drunk as a skunk. Lucky me. I felt groggy for like 10 minutes after and then I was back to normal.

Man, I never get any cool side effects from drugs. Stupid high tolerance. :shakehead

i have been legally drugged, and it does nothing for me. just puts me to sleep or numbs things, nothing out of the ordinary. ive been so drunk that ive started puking, but that wasnt too fun. nothing wierd happened either. ive smoked weed as well, and it doesnt do anything to me either. i have a high tolerance too. surprisingly enough, i can play forza 2 better when i have a beer in my system. go figure.

in the end, drugs are stupid. i can understand a couple beers while watching the game with friends or at a bar, but not gettin so drunk you cant function. that defeats the point of it all.

Best feeling in the world is to take a few sleeping pills, and then fight through the urge to fall asleep. After about a half hour, you get this really fun sorta tipsy but not quite drunk tingly feeling all over. And the whole world just seems to process slower. Then you fall asleep.

I'm with you on this young. Although I would be lying if I said it NEVER happens where I drink a bit past that stage, and then end up regreting it. Really the only times I get real bad is after or during some stressful events such as finals.

i played video games on 2 benadryl, which can take you out pretty quick for a lightweight like me, and i did better for the couple games i started buzzing than i had done the whole night. of course, then i started falling asleep during the matches and i started losing. but for 2 games i stinking rocked.

The only time I remember.... Well I dont remember thats the problem. I couldn't remember a thing until 2 hours after they woke me up. I hear I did some crazy things in the mean time.

me too!! the first time i went to go get my wisdom teeth pulled, they gave me a pill that was so strong, all i remember is driving there on the freeway, and next thing you know i woke up in my bed.

your telling me, as i live in beer city of the capital. everyone here loves their beer and to get messed up. hell, your first dui isnt even an arrest or jail time. just a fine, and have someone come get you from the jail or until your legally sober to drive home or w/e. most will let you stay in your car and just sleep until you are sober again, provided you are in a decent neighborhood.

if your not messed up, your not 'cool'. well, there isnt much else for people from 18-20 to do as there is like 1 teen club, and people around here are stupid about things. most things now that open up are 21 and older after 9pm or so. for gods sake you have to be 18 to be in the mall after 3pm on a friday and saturday.

maybe im the wierd one. idk. i like to drink a couple, but i still want to function and be mobile. not just sit down and talk crap.

i dont get how you can get so drugged that you cant remember everything. maybe im just wierd like that. my cousin wont remember a thing from the night before. this is after maybe 7 henekins or so at a local club we go to. not all are bought there though. thats too much money. i can drink all i want, and i'll remember everything.

cassies, i know how sleeping pills feels fighting them. i used to have to take benedril when i went into my chem class for a week. i was allergic to their cleaning supplies for a week. its not fun. well, you are tipsy for a couple minutes, then get a huge headache. when you wake up, it feels like a crappy sleep. i hate that feeling.

Christ...your cuz has a lower tolerance than my ex girlfriend, lol. I'll polish of a sixer and just be getting warmed up. It takes me about five-ten shots of Jose and a few beers to get tipsy. Of course, being Texan and Irish/Norman, I drink Tequila, Whiskey and Wine like its water, lol.

Hmmm, I've never had that feeling before. I'll keep an eye out for it. The thing I like about it is when you are in that state, you have to basically mentally map out everything you do. Even standing up is a concentrated effort. I love it, lol.

I tore a ligament in my knee and they have me on Percocet. Take 3 of those and the aaaaallllll the pain gooooooooeeesssss awaaaaaay

7 beers is like my stretching exercise for the real stuff, but thats if I am actually partying. Otherwise ill just drink a 6 or 12 pack and chill.

Nyquil messes me up, I like to take some, play World of Warcraft and see how long I last before people start asking me if im okay. I tend to start laughing at random things.

Also Im not allowed to drink, it takes 2 full wine bottles to mess me up (I dont like hard liquor or beer) and then I start hitting on any girl around me within my age and I have been told I can be very mean to the not so pretty girls.

It always freaks me out when I get anesthetized. I mean, a doctor has to be there to make sure you aren't getting a little too much because you will die, but somehow we can just shoot a lion with a dart and its out for hours. What ever that lion is getting we should have.

exactly, my aunt told me she did it, and her daughter was 3 and running around the house and she was just stuck, couldnt move, high as a kite.
