Stupid question, but I really don't want to get hurt.

I'm gonna make a youtube vid tomorrow of my LT1 swap in my Caprice, and want to rev up the engine while holding the camera over the engine.. so obviously i need to rev from under the hood..

i know the silver piece is the throttle, with the springs and wire, but how do I move it to make it rev up?

it only moves in one direction from idle.

Just be safe and get someone to sit in the car and rev it.
