hey thanks Blip..everytime I post a toon on the pages i think of you and your toons....great to hear from you. I went back over it last night and changed a few things., I wanted to make the fenders flare out more .. I felt the front especially looked too small (see above)...so I re-did those.. I will post an update later ... thanks again.. you too GB... thanks!! ;)

Great toon. Clean, flowing lines gives it that exaggerated acceleration feel. Looking forward to seeing it colorized! Robo

the more I look at it ..the more i think that the rear end is too long.. am I right?.. i think it should be more compact..even in a Toon as exxagerated as the toon is. I have been racking my brain and looking at photos.. I altered the image to show what I think it should look like... any opinions on this.. you can also see the updated wider fenders on this one... want to make sure the design is tight before i render thankshttp://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q219/mavic31/willy_tn-1.jpg

my honest advice
don't over think it...thinking will crush your progress.
The linework looks great. I'd move on. Is there a such thing as too long in a cartoon? :)
the work looks great like I said. Drawing is 95% mental....go play with 5 now.
Looking forward to seeing the final.

I think lemorris has nailed it, don't over-due the self-critic stuff.
We become our own worse enemy.:banghead: :iceslolan
For structure/shape issues, the biggest thing I worry about is the perspective lines.
(I still struggle with wheel & tire Ellipses.)
The exaggeration and proportions of a toon is what makes the image yours and kind of flows from your mind to your hand.
Only you know how far you want to take it, but for me, I make sure the perspective guidelines still work out in the final shape.
The perspective looks right to me and the exaggerated shape is very cool.
Hope that helps a bit.
