No im not getting any spark, Im def getting fuel I can smell it and see it shoot up from the carb. Any Ideas? I just recently replaced the timing cover gasket, fuel pump gasket, and oil pan gasket.

How about the wires to the dist, are they cracked ?
Not the plug wires, the ones out the side of the dist.

Did you connect the vac advance vacum line ?

Make sure you have spark from the coil itself first. I suggested to get a spark tester (the one with alligator clip to connect on a ground). Leave the plug wires from the coil but on the other end of the plug wire must be connect to the spark tester which is clamped on the metal ground. Start the vehicle and see if you have spark.

If you have spark the problem lies somewhere in the distributor.

The pick-up coil is inside the distributor, and the coil sets atop of the dist. cap.
That was why I mentioned the wires coming from the dist., they are easy to damage while working up front.

Checking for spark , and checking that the plugs are not soaked and flooded. :2cents:
