ls to 98 jaguar

i have a 2000 lincoln ls 3.9 liter v8 jaguar motor and transmission. i was wondering if i could put this motor adn tranny, or maybe just hte motor in the 98 jag.

I'm not sure it would be a drop-in for the '98 Jag. Do you have the PCM, wiring harness, and all associated sensors for the LS engine as well? And, actually, some of the other modules are programmed to the PCM as well. Specifically the PATS system.

all the sensors are on the motor, but i don't have the wiring harness.

With all the interactions between the various different electronics in either of these cars, I'm not sure this would be worth your headaches.

If you've got plenty of time, garage space, tools, friends, beer, and a service manual for the donor and recipient cars, it could be an exciting project. More than I could recommend tackling though.
