Kazaa uses spyware

Thats right, the fuckers put spyware tracking shit on your computer. Everytime I delete them, it tells me I have deleted certain files need by Kazaa, and that I need to reinstall. :mad:

What? So does Kazaa self "patch" itself to include this spyware? I've had Kazaa for a long time, so if I try to download an mp3 now, will the cops come get me or something?? :mad:

Oops, I had to move it to free up some space. I will put it back on tonight. :)

is that why whenever i try to download somthing from kazaa these days i just get "more sources needed" Are people just taking their stuff off?

Beats the hell out of me. I switched to Morpheus today, and I like it better.

They're pretty much the same thing. Sometimes youll end up downloading stuff on morpheus from kazaa and vice versa.

kazaa and Morpheus are the exact same thing
notice when you download on morpheus (during the download) look in the folder it downloads to (probably My Shared Folder) and it says Kazaa[and numbers here] for the file you're downloading

I cant get anything off of either.
I tell it to search for somthing that should have eighty million results and it doesnt find anything. it just keeps searching and searching.......

They are not the exact same thing. Or I would not have switched. :)

Ive used Morpheus for a while now and its pretty good. 1 word of caution... Scan Everything For Virii. Ive seen tons of them embedded in different stuff ive d/l and some of the virii were pretty nasty.

hehehe, i've had morpheus since last (school) year.. and just last week a switched to Kazaa.. lol :D
i find that morpheus has too many annoying bugs... but i might switch back

hehe, that sucks. I dont remember how to clean it off hand. When I get home, I will post the directions.

Yea, that's what I was wondering. After it brings up that list, do I have to manually delete everything or can this program do it for me. If so, how?

ok, you go to options>>>>launch ad aware>>>>scan my system. It will then run the scan. It will then tell you spyware has been found. Click continue. It will then open a window, with all the refrences, with empty boxes to the right. Put a check in every box. Then click next. It will then tell you cleaning is finished. Then click close, and minimize ad aware. You are then finished.


You can configure adaware to monitor things in the background.
