Hey just wondering how ppl protect thier cars or finsih it off.
Cause liek my old models, the decal are starting to either crack or break off espcially in tight areas. I live in Australia and the condition here is pretty dry and hot.

What I do is spray 2 layer of Top coat on the first day, then spray 2 layer of Super Gloss on the following day. Too thick, no!
What I think is Tamiya, Fujimi and Aoshima decals are too thin, if I spray Supergloss on it, eerything shrink, crack and pop. :( So 2 coat of topcoat is just fine. IMO:rolleyes:  :D

strange.. I use Clear coat over decal (tamiya and home made) and no problem at all.. you only need to wait 3 day to let the decal dry...
I use Testor clear coat (2$ at wallmart.. can't beat this clear.. paint and primer are an other story :D )

I use Mr.Hobby (former Gunze Sanyo) Super clear is too strong for Tamiya, Fujimi and Aoshima decals. I had screw up the Cusco and Garage Shirokuma Evo.7 decals:mad: By keeping more safe, I use both can in different days.
