fired up the blazer thismorning and no low beam headlights.
click the dimmer switch and I have high beams.
My question is, Is the little (eye) on the dash near the speaker something that would keep the dim lights from coming on?
I have never had a problem with this and cant imagine both dim beams burning out at the same time. any ideas?

If the vehicle is equipped with DRL's, they use the high beam, (inner) bulbs, and come on when the ignition is in the RUN position, (unless bypassed). The "eye" on the dash is a light sensor and turns on the headlights. If the dimmer switch is in the high position, the high beams will turn on, if it's in the low position, the low beams will turn on. If both of your high beams work, check the low beam relay in the underhood fuse panel, check both low beam bulbs, (wouldn't be the first time). If the high beams work, the headlight switch is working, although there may be a problem with the dimmer switch or wiring to the relay. Look at the easy stuff first, check both low bulbs ;)
