You can remove them from the vehical yourself, but I would highly recomend that you have a shop use a spring compressor to put together and dissasembile the strut assy.
should be three nuts to remove on the top of the strut and two on the bottom.
Now comes the alignment part. any time struts are replaced an alingment needs to be done.

Welcome to AF brock02.
You can rent a spring compressor , it's not that hard as long as safety is taken and you follow the directions to a "T".

And an alignment is necessary.
