1993 jeep wrangler soft top 2.5l inline four manual and 4x4 120,000. Are there any common problems i should know about this truck? It seems to me that it uses quite a bit of gas. and it drifts alot on the freeway or else it could be just being blown? i don't know, so if any one could help with any thing would be sweet.
Thanks alot.
Thanks alot.

i have a 95 2.5 with 150k havent replaced a thing yet except for the occasional tune up. these engines are known for their durability, especially the 4.0. as long as you give it some tune ups and oil changes, itll run forever. as for the swaying on the highway. i think thats normal. i drive back to college every week and take the highway and mine sways alot. especially when its windy. hope this helps.

currenlt I own 2 wranglers a 94 and a 96/97 (don't ask). Jeep drivers say "it's a Jeep thing" It's true. you will learn in the next 2 months you either lovem or hatem. So remember this. They have 2 straight axels, meaning you feel every bump. They are a jeep so good gas milage is out of the question. If it's auto they lack power. Can be cold inside a soft top. The list goes on. But we lovem. You can do a lot of things to make your jeep, well your jeep. Buy yourself a jeep mag and view all of the options you can do to your jeep. The people are usually very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish you the best.

Hey man.. congrats on your jeep purchase. I'm still in my infancy with them too (on my second one and have been into them for 3 years now).
Go check out Quadratec.com... they will send you a free catalog to check out for options and ideas.
I loved my 95 4cyl automatic, but like the guy said.. you loose more power than in a manual, and my gas milage in that thing was maybe 20ish mpg to 23ish.
The heater rocked in mine, so the soft top i put on it wasn't bad after a little warming up, and there are tons of things you can do to get rid of alot of the road noise if you want some tips.
It's an experienceman.. hope yours is as good as mine has been.
Cheers.
