I recently installed a alarm on my acura integra and for some reason the dome light is no longer turning on for the driver's side door. I am sure i have the right wire, checked both the volt meter and the car's wiring guide. The passanger's side works fine but not the driver's side. The wire it is connected to should work with both of the doors, i can't figure out what could be wrong. Some how could i have shorted something? If any one could help, thanks.

Take the new alarm wire attached to the drivers door connection loose and see if normal operation resumes.

The drivers door wiring is a little different due to needing separation from other door(s) for headlight and key in warnings
