Hi Guys, let me show you my Lexus RX based on the Aoshima Harrier snap kit. All I had to do was only to change the emblems and it made a pretty good Lexus RX. I painted it golden bronze, the interior is all black. This is my first time weathering a kit, so be gentle with me, but any suggestions are welcome. I know it's not really an offroad car but my idea was a family car after a long and dirty weekend trip. Oh, anyway, the driver hit the rear bumper accidentally to something and broke the lower rear light lense on the right :) - bad luck! I lost it  so had to manage the problem somehow, so I made a cracked lense from scratch. Here are the pics (this time I try bigger ones):

Oh, I almost forgot to show how they come back after the long trip weekend:

The bike, the roof box and roof rack are from Fujimi. Hope you guys like it!

Thanks, that was the only one I had at the moment, badges are from a LS600hL kit (which I broke :frown: ), I used the front LS on the rear of the RX and the rear LS on the front of the RX, that's why you see the size difference.
What do you work at Lexus anyway?

Hmm, there is only one problem with your model. It's just a regular RX330. The RX400H has a different grill and bumper with round foglamps, rims, and taillights. Other than that, it's a excellent build. Bit large on the stickers but still good.

I love this subject!!
About the badges, I would have just put on the badges. It will still look realistic without the lettering. If you happen to have the old badges from an old Tamiya Lexus LS400 kit, those are perfect badges for this car. I bought a couple boxes of the LS400(ruined one kit, so had to buy a new box for parts) and now I know what to do with the leftover metal transfers!

wow I didn't know this kit existed. Nice build and roof accessories. I don't think anyone with a rx400h would put it through this much use though in real life :evillol:

By the way, is the kit only provides the right hand drive dashboard? Anyone knows if Lexus ever made any right hand drive RX's?

Great build, first one of AF too !!
Yes Kaho, Lexus has made right hand drive RX's. Here in Australia the RX is under the lexus badge and we are right hand drive cars. In most asian countries the RX is also known as the "Toyota Harrier".

Yes, the kit unfortunately only provides right hand drive dashboard.
As for in the real life, beside Australia they sell right hand drive Lexuses in the UK also I think. Or even Malta, Cyprus, I guess they use right hand drive cars also in Europe.
Yes, the badges aren't the best concerning the hybrid of the RX's, I don't mind anyway... Thanks for the comments guys by the way!

Hi!
Aoshima did a good job with this lexus albeit the snap-loc system. Created to steal the die-cast fans market :).
Love the build although for me, the lexus is not really a car for weathering hehe they're to shiny to hit the dirt :P
Dirt only goes to the company of Jeeps, Old Landie or Rover, Landcruisers...even Cayenne is not close enough.
