aarrghh so nice. I just love the gulf livery. Verry special colour combination, verry bright and barely any other sponsor on it.

agree about the lola coupe, not too many affordable race car kits being made nowadays
I especially like the all-black MICHELIN logos on the front and back corners of the Gulf DBR9

The DBR9 looks nice, but it means nothing to me if it's not going to compete against Corvette Racing in the ALMS. Apparently the Charouz Lola B08/60 Aston Martin Coupe was rumored to debut at Sebring, but I am not holding my breath

That looks awesome!!! We only need the decals, the perfect kit for this would be the MFH Le Mans 07 version.

Yep, I have the '07 Le Mans version and the hood openings are an exact match. Now, I need to find someone smarter then me to make decals to match. So........ if anyone can, let me know, I may just have to make my 07 into the 08 before Le Mans.

I don't like it at all. On the track at eye level it will be boring, just like the vette year after year. Is their any color on the side? Maybe if they chose flor.orange stripes and wheels and a prettier blue like the Gulf Mclaren?

That's the "money shot" for sure. Top veiw of the nose showing the most color, vents, grill, lights, etc. But you don't really see that at track level. Think about the black Texaco 962's with their giant texaco star on the back. They are Daytona paint schemes, not Sebring paint schemes. At Sebring it's the nose and side of the car at eye level that matters. The roof is rarely seen.
Just an opinion, some like simple paint, others like art cars. I prefer the latter.

I agree about being plain, but I like it because it isnt the usual green. I actually like the Jet Alliance DBR9 best so far.

Agreed, Mr Richards constant bitching during 2005 and subsequent "we're not going to run if we dont get rules breaks" prior to 2006 makes me feel the same as you. However, this is just another "look" for the DBR9 for modelling purposes, if I was going to build this kit I would consider this scheme even though I am not happy with the direction of Aston Martin Racing.
At least the will be a GT2 car entered by Barwell this full season.

The cars and of course the wheels are 1/24... They are homebrew Slotcars that I race here in Germany and in some other places. The Wheel inserts are also home made and if you are interested we can work out a deal.
