Hello there this is my first post, hope that anyone can help me .I got a Toyota Camry LE V6 1995 the check engine light lit and the o/d light blinks when its on. Took the car the check they told it was a TCC code 0773. Is it a sensor ?will it mess up my transmission? how much I'm going to have to pay to get it fixed?

Welcome to the AF!

The ECM uses signals from throttle position sensor, airflow meter and crankshaft position sensor to monitor engagement of Torque Converter Clutch. Check the electrical connections to these sensors and the associated wiring. There may be a damaged wire or a bad connector/connection. Check the functions of these sensors. You may have a bad sensor.

I don't know if it can damage your transmission. Part of the answer would be in how good your transmission fluid is. You will probably run your transmission hotter at highway speeds, but there is probably no difference in town below 50 mph or so.
