Here I found 2 really nice deals on Infiniti G35:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=237175954&dealer_id=61843785&car_year=2004&num_records=100&model=G35&kbbModelYear=2006&systime=&make2=&start_year=1981&engine=&keywordsrep=&keywordsfyc=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=500&zip=24060&marketZipError=false&opn=buydetails&osn=buyclass&search_lang=en&make=INFIN&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&isDWSI=false&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=100000&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=24060&advanced=y&end_year=2008&transmission=&doors=&max_price=12000&cardist=426
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=237113385&dealer_id=61835225&car_year=2006&num_records=100&model=G35&kbbModelYear=2006&systime=&make2=&start_year=1981&engine=&keywordsrep=&keywordsfyc=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=500&zip=24060&marketZipError=false&opn=buydetails&osn=buyclass&search_lang=en&make=INFIN&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&isDWSI=false&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=100000&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=24060&advanced=y&end_year=2008&transmission=&doors=&max_price=12000&cardist=425
Is this legit, or a scam? There is a phone number to call.
Also, two very similar cars appeared on autotrader couple months ago...

Any advice on how to find out for sure if its legit or not?
Also, it seems to me that there is no reason for a seller to price a car below dealer trade-in price, right?
The first car's back, by the way.

I would check the CARFAX reports on both and take them both to a mechanic regardless of what the report says to make sure it hasn't been in a wreck. Hard to imagine both of those nice cars going for so cheap without any problems.

I'd be wary of these vehicles. There have been reports of scams recently with some from Autotrader ads. What happens is the seller wants payment immediately, usually through a place like Western Union, then doesn't deliver on the car. If you are still interested do some thorough research into the cars and ask a lot of questions of the seller.

People that are stupid enough to fall for that kind of deserve to have a little money taken from them. Pretty much anyone knows that when you are going to buy a vehicle you do it in person, you never buy anything unseen especially cars. So for the two cars you posted about if you live near by go see them and take them for a test drive then take it to an independent mechanic and have him take a look at it.

if you live far from where the seller is, how do you find a dependable mechanic in his area?
