Ok so i'm driving home from playing hockey, and i happen to see the car of a guy a know up ahead, brand new 2003 Ford Escape...think it has a V6. Anyways i get beside him, doing about 60km/h, and i'm not expecting him to go for it at all.....but he does....by the time i stepped on it, he was about a car length ahead, but he just kept pulling on me after that, we shut down at about 130km.h. I know my car is a slow POS, it's the 2.2L if your wondering, but i should be able to at least keep up with a Ford Escape shouldn't i?

It depends on the model, if its a 4 banger it has 127hp and is heavier so the cav should keep up and probly pass it. Now if it is a v6 like you said, it has a 3 liter engine putting out 200hp and you arnt going to catch it.

Honestly, their pretty fast. My mother has a 02' Escapse. 200-hp Duratec V6. FWD model. Pulls pretty hard. Really easy to do burnouts. We raced once, me in my Eclipse. She put a whole carlenth on me.

ah well, all in fun tho eh? i'd say w/ the numbers of the V6, u don't have much to be ashamed of, simply were over-powered.
