Okay I am beginning to think I should have left the other engine in my car.
Heres what is going on now.
I start the car it revs up to about 2K and it stays there which is nothing out of the normal when its cold. But after I drive it a long or short time when I pop the clutch it goes to about 2500 or higher a second ago it was idling at about 3300. If I hit the gas then let off it will go back down to about 2k but as soon as I take off and hold the throttle at a position and then hit the clutch again same ol shit as before.
The motor that I put in it has a cam that I have no idea the duration on. The car smells like it runs rich as hell. I have an AEM timing gear on it and its retarded to the fourth hashmark. I think that means its 8 degrees off normal? Is that too much or is it impossible to tell without knowing the size of the cam?
Thanks for any help anyone can give me even if its a SUCKS TO BE YOUR ASS. YOU SHOULD HAVE INSTALLED THE CAM AND SHIT YOURSELF...thanks

Check all your vacume lines. If possible try and get your hands on a vacume guage. Or you could try adjusting your throttle cable, maybe it's to tight.
Those are the 2 things i would check first.
Hope that helps man

theres a plate on the throttle body that the throttle cabe attaches to. If thats bent just a little bit, it sticks and wont let the idle return to where it should go.

Thats what i was thinkin cause he said if he pressed on tha accelerator again it would usualy drop back down to idle right?
