I have a 2004 MGM. About three weeks ago it needed a jump. Then it was every 2-3 days. Now it is every time I try to start it. I disconnected the negative cable and clipped on a test light between the post and cable and proceeded to pull fuses starting in the power dist. box. The light went out when I pulled #113 (maxi fuse). This controls interior fuses #21, 23, 25 27. I replaced 113 and started pulling the interior fuses mentioned. Pulled 1 at a time the light would dim to 1/2 brightness. I then pulled them all, one at a time, and when I pulled #27 last, the light went out. The one thing they all had in common was the LCM (lighting control module). Is this the issue? I have had the battery and alternator tested and both are fine. The guy at Auto Zone then tested when the car and all components were off and it registered a draw of .62. The normal draw on a battery I was told should only be .01 or less. A big time draw. I have checked all lights inside and out and all seem to be fine. Any idea's before I gamble on a new LCM (a $450.00 part)? Has anyone encountered this before. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Have the lcm tested before you replace it. You need a scantool to run a self-test of the lcm. If indeed you do need a replacement try ebay or a wrecking yard it should fit out of a crown victoria also.
