Check engine light HELP!!! 97 528i

hi there! i am new to BMWs and need to know how to pull codes when the Check engine light stays on. I have a 1997 528i. Also, how do you reset the check engine light when you think you solved the problem....one more thing, who has the fault codes? thanks so much and BTW I already did a search!

nevermind, you need a special tool to reset the damn thing...FIXED
