Tire Pressure

I just installed a little bigger tires on my Dakota and don't know what pressure to inflate them to. I had p215/75r15 tires which the sticker says inflate to 35psi cold. I now have p235/75r15 tires. The only inflation rating is on the sidewall (41psi max load). What pressure should I inflate them to for maximum life and mileage?

what I did on my truck when I went to a bigger tire was inflate them untill the dirt line/impression on the tread matched.
On the flat of the tire (the tread) rides on the pavement, You can see a dirt or dust impression on the rubber.
I have a pole barn so I have 60 foot to drive on, but the street works fine.
wipe off the tread of the tire, drive about 20 feet, now look at the tread and the dirt impression on the tire.
You will see where the tire hits the pavement and how it rides. The impression should be about 1/4" in from the outside of the edge of the tread.
If the dust/dirt shows on the outside lip of the tire/tread, your tire is under inflated, and if the dirt shows more into the center of the tire/tread, your over inflated.
what your doing is evening out the wear pattern and evening out the path the tire creates even though you have disreguarded even tire pressure.
A ten pound pressure difference in tires does not mean they are riding on the ground evenly.
expecally if you happen to buy tires and they came out of different factorys but still have the same name.
I normally find a 4-8lb. difference between tires.
