Hi!

I draw for fun now and then and i like to create my own designs

but im not very good with perspective and dont have a good idea of where things are EXACTLY meant to be on a car (proportions etc.)

http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/3133/09012008311oa1.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

I just dont know how to finsh this.

the wheels are already screwd up they look horrid

and i dont know if the left side of the car is correct (didnt know how to extend that front bumper)

ive attempted to put teh front window and stuff but it looks out of place for some reason

i think its because i didnt use any reference material (tried to do it off my head)

HELP PLEASE!

and if someone is really bored u can outline the rest of the car for me and ill work with it :D:D:D:D

THANKYOU!

a couple things

number 1: don't beat yourself up. If any of us was perfect we wouldn't be here.

Number 2: you got a larger picture? that's sarcasm :) Just scale it down a bit so we can take it all in.

Number 3: seems to me like you've thrown in the towel and it's still a sketch. Pull out your eraser and erase what you don't like and try again. You said you draw for fun so...have some fun.

You may benefit from using the box method. By mightly sketching boxes to represent the body and roof part in perspective you will have guides for which to draw your car within.

(here comes Trosley agin fellas) like Trosley...though he is a cartoonist the method works for realistic drawings as well.

here's an example

here's his how to page

http://www.georgetrosley.com/howto.html

order his CD, tell him Lemorris sent you.

oh and just practice...you'll have it down in no time.

^what he said (you dont know trosely do you?)

draw for fun. get a smaller pic (use resizing on www.imageshack.us) and draw a complete car, so we can have a look at everything, and hopefully fix anything thats in need of a little tweek

Another voice here for using Trosley's book. It's a great ref guide for
learning how to "box" in vehicle shapes. I use that technique for every
initial thumbnail sketch I draw.
