Engine Oil Coole Lines

I have just purchased a set of both upper and lower engine oil cooler lines for my 1998 2 door tahoe 4x4 5.7L Vortech due to a progressive leak with my original lines. Could some one give me a good step by step instruction on installing these lines.. In addition to that, would you please confirm what parts/tools I will actually need for the install. I appreciate the help as I am new to the DIY thing with the autos except for basic tune ups.

Before you start, look at the adapter on the block. They leak a lot too, and you will want to replace that with the lines if it is leaking. If you replace it, make sure you clean all of the old gasket off the block or the new gasket will probably leak.

Remove the 13mm (or maybe 1/2", but metric works for everything over 10mm :)) bolt between the lines on the flange that connects to the adapter. You will need about 2 feet of extensions and a u-joint to reach it. Remove the 10mm bolt from the bracket that holds the lines to the front of the engine. Remove the cooler hoses from the radiator. You may or may not need to lift the engine to get the lines out. I know you have to on the t-10 blazers, but I'm not sure about the full-size trucks. Put a wood block between the jack and oil pan so you don't dent it.

As far as tools go, you will need at least:
socket set with extensions
line wrenches
drain pan
gasket scraper or die grinder with long shaft (if you replace the adapter gasket)
possibly a floor jack and a wood block

You may have to remove additional components to reach the hoses on the radiator... can't think what would be there on the full size. On Blazers, you have to remove the air box... but I'm drawing a blank here.
