what the heck

ok this just ticks me off!! i have been living out in the middle of no where all my life and the road that i live on is a dead end road with no speed limit. until today i was coming home from work today and what do i see when i turned onto the road..... a freaken 25 mph sign!!! man that just makes me so mad!!:banghead:

It was probably 25 to begin with. Usually unmarked roads are 25-35ish.

Hmmm.... You're all alone out there, and a sign shows up... you know it COULD disappear just as quickly as it went up... What... is someone gonna see yo **ahem** it fall down and blow away?

You should check into the DMV handbook. Here in FL if a road is unmarked and is in a residential are, it is designated at 30 mph, unless otherwise posted. You probably pissed off a neighbor one too many times...

You mean there literally isn't any other house on the road you live on?well yeah there are others but they have lived here as long as i have and they have never had a problem with us driving fast the road.

Do you have a truck with a good brushguard on it? those always do the trick.

Signs like that around here usually end up in the bottom of the lake.
