Losing friends...

**THIS IS JEWL WRITING NOT KATE!! **

As I sit here and write today I am forced to think about life. I found out yesterday that Monday night 2 of my close friends from HS were driving home (jersey) from philly and wrecked. The one driving was drunk. Why he drove is beyond me because he just got his license back after having lost it for stealing a car with out a license. The one who died was thrown from the vehicle about 30 feet. The driver was able to jump (unsure of how this happened) in to the passanger side and be unhurt. All the while, the drunk one is fine no questions asked while Kenny was the one to have died. Luckily 3 of his very close friends and family members were able to say goodbye. A close friend of mine, Chris, told me that he went up to the hospital Monday night and was told that he had 15 minutes to say what he wanted. Kenny was on life support then, they took him off after as his parents asked, about 10 minutes after Chris left the room. He was there when his best friend died. After reciving that news this morning, this afternoon I find out that Kate (her user name) was in a car accident last night with my other best friend Tina. I now hear that Kate is in the same predicimant as Kenny was. Her dad is on her way. And yet, I have been told by her ex that I dont need to go up there. I dont need to because she is going to be ok. Yet I cant get a hold of anyone to tel me that my best friend is ok.

I now need to make the decision of wether to take a car and go up there illegally (i lost my license a few weeks ago) or to sit and wait and just hope that someone tells me what is going on with my best friend who is like my sister. What do I do? I am so confused right now I dont know what to do. If you have any suggestions let me know ASAP because I'm so worried that I wont get to say goodbye if i have to but yet, i dont want to do something stupid if it can be prevented...any comments would be much appreciated...thank you: Jewl

:eek:Well in that kind of situation, I would get there as fast as possible. I'd just drive safely and the speed limit and such and not do anything to get caught without a license. Her ex may just be trying to keep you calm by saying that but it could very well be true, still you might wanna get there any way you can. Hope she's ok, sorry bout your other friends as well.

Train, plane or bus. Or find a friend you can drive with. Friends are friends. I hope she's okay.

Im really sorry to hear that I guess if you havent left already just think that this may be the only chance you get. You can only live once. I was in your friends situation once when I rolled my Chevelle in High School it really scared me. I can tell you that anyone that you have to support you in a time you need it really helps in a situation like that.

HOPE IT ALL WORKS OUT.
