Clutch pedal stuck

My 84 fiero was sitting outside for 6 months . In that time I would
start it to charge the battery and the last time I tried to start it the
clutch pedal stuck pushed in. I tried to pull back on the pedal and it
won't do anything. :banghead: Any suggestions would be greatly appreiated.

I purchased an 86 4speed last year with the same problem. It turns out that the slave cylinder in the engine bay was rusted in place. Now understand that the car was sitting for 3 + years without starting of even someone charging the battery.

I did go ahead and replace the whole clutch system from pedal to the slave and everything in the middle. I recommend that you start first by disassembleing the slave in the back and removing from the whole system. if the pedal does move, you have found the issue. At this point all you need is a new or rebuild slave. It is an easy part to find and replace. Please note that you must be careful and not use to much force when removing the slave bracket. It is made of a fragile metal and I broke mine while replacing it. If you do break it, no worries. It is not that expensive to get a replacement.

The other common problem on those is the throwout fork and bearing. The original forks tend to wear away and can actually bypass the groove in the bearing and get stuck on the wrong side. I had three of them do that:
