Seriously considdering geting another DSM

Well guys with tax time comeing around im seriously considering get me another DSM. Of course this time it will be a turbo'd dsm for sure. I've been looking around for the past month or so, around town and on the internet havet really seen anything that spark's my interest. Alot of nice DSM's out but all are over priced. I'm looking for a 97-99 GSX for about 3-4k. I know im a cheap bastard but oh well :-P. if i can't find a GSX i will settle for a GST i will not go back to a 420A for no reason. If you guy's know of anything decent for sale let me know looking for something around the SC area dont wana drive to far.

DSMs are alot like gravity, no matter how hard you try to stay away, you'll get pulled back everytime.

You're not going to find a GSX in that price range... and the GST you find will be ragged to shit. Hard to find anything in the 3-4k price range really...

That may be true for 90% of DSM's but im also not in a rush i can wait untill i find one that i like and for the price i want. If i can't find a good one in that price range then i proably will not be geting one. I really want a GSX but a GST will do just fine im not a huge track guy mostly street raceing but the GSX might would turn me into a track guy lol.

I have seen some go pretty cheap on dsmtrader. Might want to check that out. You are prolly not going to find one close to SC though

I'll give y'all one guess why. He knows what his car is worth, but $20 also says he knows why someone shouldnt buy it for what its worth. I'd be weary about those "too good to be true" deals because I bet that it is. I'd go check it out for sure, but I would be sure to look it over with a fine tooth comb.

found a tsi awd with a 99 gs-x conversion guy wants 4,500 but i got his e-mail just e-mailed him hopefully he will msg me back tommrow its on ohio so hopefully the guy is legit and the car is good and ill be going to get it in the next few weeks :-D

ok guy on teh tsi awd replied back said he bought the car about 3 months ago not running changed the plugs wires fuel filter and sending unit and it runs find now just needs a tune.

Hi there, up for sale I have my 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi Awd with a 1999 Eclipse GSX Conversion, even the roof has been painted. Car starts and runs, just needs to be tuned. Car is a 5 -Speed. NEED TO SELL as is. Most parts on the vehicle are from slowboy including the 280 Camshafts. The car has dsmlink on it, just needs to be tuned because I no longer have the laptop. Car has made about 450 to the wheel at 19 lbs of boost. Right now it is probably about 350 400hp to the wheel. Would CONSIDER a trade for a VERY CLEAN 1g, stock or modded. Why does he NEED to sell it as is, but he would take trade for a stock or MODDED 1g? Seems a little fishy to me. Either way, it seems better than the first one. Definitely worth checking out though, seems like a decent car, just make sure you keep the tune on the conservative side. Ask for reciepts of all the parts too, most people that are serious about their cars, especially guys that seriously mod, will keep ALL the reciepts, some even keep oil change reciepts and shit.

I talked to the guy and he says the car will start and run but is not driveable because it does not have a tune. He said it needs a labtop with dsmlink to be able to tune it. i duno fi that means he doesnt have the software for dsm or what i sent him a e-mail and asked. he said its not drivable so if i get it i will have to trailor it back to SC. what you guys think i should do?

well i think i found one. its a 96 gst with a jdm evo 3 engine. the car has 130,xxx miles he said the motor only has 50,xxx on it almost completly stock. the guy said its the dealer ship geting the ball joints replaced from the factory recal. hes going to send me some pictures tommrow or thuesday when it gets out of the shop. its in georiga about 250 miles away from me. he only wants 3,600 for it. if i like the way it looks ill be going to pic it up this week. wish me luck ill post pics when the guy sends them to me
