im sooo pissed!!!

so i was at the mall today and parked out side best buy, i was inside for maybe 20 minutes and come out to find someone had tried to back out and cut the wheel too hard and scraped my driver side rear quarter panel and took off. there is now a crease about a foot long from just behind the door to the wheel and 2 dents above the rear wheel. i call the insurence company and they tell me its going to be a $250 deductable. this sucks cuz im not paying $250 to get this fixed, i cant afford it right now cuz i dont have a job since i work at a golf course and its winter and christmas was just here which means i have like negative money at the moment. i hate people sooo much.

Same thing happened to me a year ago, not to the same severity though, When I go into work I usually park at the back of the lot so no one is around but somehow this old lady opened her door and smashed into my rear quarter panel. I feel your pain.

yeah, i park at the end where there are no cars around thinking i was safe but that also means the cameras cant see either(i did not know this or else i would have parked closer and took my chances), so when i asked to see the tape to see who hit me they asked where i parked and they told me there camera only go to about half way down the lot so it was pointless to look at the tape. i guess all i can hope for is to find a white car with green paint on the bumper so i can atleast bitch the guy out.

screw that. keep a bat or golf club in ur car and wait til u find the bitch. im still on the lookout for a riced out red honda civic. my 8 iron has an appointment with his window..... did the exact same thing to my passenger side quarter/bumper.

Yea I keep 2 knives, 1 aluminum baseball bat and a handheld crobar in my trunk. I'm waiting for the day to bust em out. :) *chuckle*

Tthat will be just great when you encounter the old lady with the Beretta .32 in her purse. That pistol was designed just for that purpose. That'll make your knives and Louisville slugger look pretty stupid.

In other words, don't end up in jail over a wrinkled door skin. Hit them where it hurts - In the wallet.

did you file a police report? the mall and that best buy may have cameras on their parking lot, i know the 2 best buys in omaha have parking lot cameras, and if they do, they're not just gonna show some kid the tape, (for retaliation purposes) you'll have to get the police involved

and $250 is not that bad at all for body work, can you show us a detailed pic of the damage?

... end story. Shopping carts and cars are right up there with stupid ppl.

well im 17 and have negative money like all the time so $250 is a lot for something i didnt even do myself. and i did get the cops involed but they say where i parked is not best buy property so they cant make them do anything, i guess best buy only owns half way down the lot and the rest is owned by the city or something.

Is it a deep crease in the metal or more like its just pushed in?

i will get some pics up and you can see for your self, but it wont be till maybe tuesday cuz i dont have my camera.
