So, I'm right in the middle of a quandry.... Ive got the new truck bug and am having a tough time shaking it. I am considering selling/trading in my Silverado on a NNBS Duramax... Now first off this is a total want, not even close to a need. Nothing is wrong with my Silverado except its not new and has almost 90k miles on it. Buying the truck isnt the issue, I can write off the value through my business. Its the fact that I wont be able to keep it stock (10 inch lift and 37's) And after all the money I spent on my current pickup, I dont know if I want to spend it all over again. Im sure I'll get plenty of "DO ITS", but Im asking for some honest insight whether I should or not...

Here is what im driving right now

Well I will say do what makes you happy. I will also say if you trade in or even sell the truck you have now are you going to get back what you put into it. If not then you are just wasting your money. even though you can just write it off that doesnt mean that you didnt work for the money. So I would say keep the truck that you have, unless you can come up with a better reason for needing a new truck other than just because.

I would just buy the "new car air freshener" because thats all you really want. you put too much time money into it to sell for loss......

90k miles is nothing for a Chevy. If you take care of it, it will go forever. If you just want a newer truck for the "status symbol", then get a new one.

I don't know if you off-road with that, or just drive it around town, but if you do offroad with it, stay with this one. The newer a vehicle is, the less forgiving it is to water. They're not puting fewer electronic parts on the new ones.

maybe make this one a little more flashy.. chrome, skid plate, some paint maybe?
